OLIVERA RIVERA, Eduardo y BRAVO TORRES, Evelyn. Standards-based education evaluation as a predictor of the level of achievement of expected learning mathematics sector. Paradígma [online]. 2011, vol.32, n.1, pp.33-54. ISSN 1011-2251.
This research aims to know the value of the predictive quality metrics and standards-based test to measure learning expected in the field of mathematics, the modulus of linear equations. The unit of analysis was 39 students between 13 and 15 years. It is a longitudinal, quasi-experimental application, with sample related. The quality of a learning assessment test, it is important to improve the management planning process and curriculum of the teacher. From the findings, it can be stated that the construction of tests has a complex structure and prove a difficult task for teachers who are starting their working lives. Were found in the teacher training, curriculum planning and deficient in design, construction and validation of tests. It was found that a learning curriculum planning based on strategies, techniques and theoretical support learning activities with a positive impact on student learning. Parametric and nonparametric procedures based on the Classical Theory of Evaluation methodology have been a valid strategy to support the construction of evidence. Of the total group, change its initial 67.6% of those who lived pedagogical intervention.
