BETHENCOURT CAMACHO, María Teresa y VILLEGAS, María Margarita. THE HUMAN TEENAGER STUDENT: An interpretation from secondary school classroom. Paradígma [online]. 2011, vol.32, n.2, pp.151-168. ISSN 1011-2251.
They are bequeathed of modernity, a conception of school and student detached from systemic complexity. Both, school and student, shun educational policies dominated by the transmisionist didactic exercise, still in use. Therefore, this paper characterizes -from the student´s view- the human teenager who expresses himself in the classroom and examines the representations of the actors in the pedagogic performance that takes place in the secondary school education. The analysis is based upon hermeneutic and fenomenological influences. The informants are ten students of secondary school education, from a public venezuelan institution. Findings express that the teenagers-students: go to the classrooms with hesitant projects of life, still not built; they recognize the gifts and objections that mean to be a human being; they slip away through -the socio-afective and technological means- from the dominant power; and, in the secondary school classroom persists a didactic model void of dialog and restrictive of the human condition of the teenager student.
