The aspects to try to understand and solve the problem about to the teaching and learning of geometry education general average, include the initial and ongoing training of teachers in the area of geometry and its didactics. Therefore, this article focuses on diagnosing the training needs of a group of mathematics teachers in the area of geometry and its didactics, considering how to carry out the process of teaching of geometry. In the methodological interviewed five teachers under a field study, using semi-structured interviews. The results show the need to provide to teachers, educational tools enabling them to adapt the geometrical content in their classes.
