This article is part of an investigation under the program of Master of Mathematics Education and realizes the characteristics of student uses pre-cartesian graph a phenomenon of variation of time and distance configurations. In particular the study of processes using graphical addresses, putting on stage a problem situation modeling the movement that allows to study a phenomenon of change through graphic records. The results obtained in terms of the levels of analysis ranging from local and global views of the graph, along with the notion of figuration partner school practice, drawing on theoretical notions from the theory of image and explicit analysis which enabled semantic characterization.
