The Ethnomathematics challenges sterile logic and proposes the exercise of an open and dialogical science. In this sense, the text proposes a resumption of this science strategy as architect of teacher education capable of putting mathematics as one of the rebuilders of cognitive operations in the plurality promoting ways to deal with the phenomena by placing them in a dynamic inacabamentos and uncertainties. Through a literature review, we use the formative experiences of educators Ubiratan D'Ambrosio, Iran Abreu Mendes and Eduardo Sebastiani Ferreira in order to materialize understandings of knowledge (mathematical) operating out of respect, inclusion and pluralism of ideas, constructs politicization of thought.
