This article discusses important ideas present in Mia Coutos work, a Mozambican writer who proposes reflections on the construction of a diverse, plural and dynamic education emphasizing creativity. As a biologist and writer of novels, short stories, essays, poems, the author uses the aforementioned areas as a way to understand the mysteries and the many facets of life. The authors work, which has an ethical and political character, presents the importance of a multiple, disciplinary intellectual, and is committed to the authors place, time and ideas. Beyond that, the work is available to meet other phenomena, scenarios and narratives. Throughout the text, we selected different characters shown by the author who lead us to understand the need of a complex education that works in conjunction with dialogue to provide different knowledge.
