This paper presents a panoramic perspective of relations that exist between traditional paradigms and the emerging paradigms in the study and practice of museum-graphics education. As a result of the on-going evaluation of research on visitors of museum spaces, we offer herein an integral typology of these same visitors, in which the traditional quantitative and qualitative typologies are integrated. Finally we offer certain basic principles as to the spectacles in general, in order to derive these principles in the case of museum graphics. In the final section, based on the previous elements (the thesis of emerging paradigms, the integrated typology of the visitors, and the nature of the spectacles in contemporary society) we offer some proposals for the conceptualization of museum spaces in a society of spectacles.
