This study is intended not only to productively “interweave” the “L” scheme with the “semiotic square,” but also to postulate, starting with this mixture “technique,” a peculiar functioning of power under the conditions of present capitalism. Contemporary capitalism is known to be characterized by a proliferation of apparatuses that involve new means of communication, which likewise, due to unprecedented ways of reproducing power, involve dynamics which are far beyond the “society of control”.
