This article explores the political practices and representations of the organized youth in working class neighborhoods of suburban Buenos Aires. Beginning with six fundamental subjects, we characterize the political practices boosted by a generation of young people socialized during a period of hard neoliberal policies and devaluation of institutional politics.The aim is to contribute to the understanding of youth groups and social networks, showing how the territory becomes a central arena of social, political and everyday life organization, and autonomy develops into the contruction of autonomous groups that confront the concrete and symbolic role of the State and carry out actions «from the bottom»
