The paper analyzes the identities of the movement created by Venezuelan university students that began in 2007 and continues to date. Its origins are attributed to the epochal political and social circumstances, marked by the aim of establishing a new order. Being part of a generation that assimilates the values of the worldwide neo-conservative cultural revolution, and with its life cycle developing along changes in the social and educative function of the university that modify the student condition, they experiment the epoch as a threat to their social expectations. Discovering the public representations of the movement and the ones that students have of themselves, we favor an interpretation that makes them part of the political reactions of the middle classes to the nascent order
