The article analyzes the Argentinean soy production circuit in the post-convertibility model, 2002-2008. Theoretic-methodological tools from the regional analysis perspective are used to address the production dynamics, territorial impacts, agents, class relationships and the role of the State. Transformations related to the «green revolution» and the agriculturization process are examined. The post-convertibility model is the setting approached to describe the main activities of the soy production circuit, with a focus on the agents and their dissimilar capacities of accumulation. Finally, the analysis of the model, the agents and the changes in the actors´ power relationship are articulate to form an interpretative frame for revising retentions, inflation and the «rural conflict»
