This text explores the meaning and the possibility of complexity in the social sciences and in the humanities. The thesis proposed here is that the dialogue between the physical, exact, and natural sciences and the social and human sciences is possible and necessary. This dialogue is fruitful in the direction of the study of and work with complexity, because basically serves as a basis for understanding and explaining the dynamics that emerges from human systems.
