The socio-historical conditions in development since the Second World War until the late twentieth century, led to a situation where the scientific- technological and the mass media advances are highlighted. In this context, there has been a difficult environmental, geographical and social reality whose explanation is biased by news and information released by the media, and the social group is turned into alienated and manipulated audience, and the main purpose is to homogenize the culture of strong commoditized accent. While that happens, the training processes in teaching geography aims to transmit academic programmatic contents without effects to understand the challenging environmental, geographical and social situation of the immediate environment, and the historic site of the modern era. Methodologically, this contradiction determined to review the literature and to structure an approach that analyzes the significant changes in the current social dynamics projection to the complex globalized world and the challenges that this transformation represents for teaching geography, by demanding a pedagogical and didactic renewal of its daily school practice.
