Abstract

The diseases transmitted by vectors are numerous that affect the health and that have been study object, in this sense, badly of Chagas is the fourth more important form of tropical disease, only surpassed by the malaria, the tuberculosis and the schistosomiasis. According to the PAHO (2014), this disease is associate to environmental and social factors that expose to million people to the infection. The objective of this work is one to propose a zoning of the risk epidemiologist of badly of Chagas in the Araure municipality, Portuguese state, Venezuela, from the use of the first multicriterion. It was made a characterization of the natural factors physical (altitude, temperature, precipitation, relative humidity) and socioeconomic (economic structure of the population, activities, type of houses, poverty), of equal way a characterization of badly became of Chagas. The results established that a risk area exists epidemiologist to I infect of badly of Chagas in the municipality, specifically in the located rural areas in the extreme west of the study area where the houses predominate type farm. One concludes that the area is vulnerable to badly of Chagas and must fortify the measures of prevention and control.
