Discrete are the documented records about bicephaly or dicephaly in South American snakes (~43), but yet without registration from Venezuelan viperids. Here it is reported for first time through photographic evidences this congenital malformation in a juvenile specimen of Crotalus durissus aff. vegrandis, a rattlesnake endemic from Venezuela and restricted to a small portion of the southeast arc of the country.
