Due to the deteriorated medical attention, bad management and the lack of financial resources, in particularly at the first level of medical attention, the Venezuelan Network of Scientific Medical Societies (RSCMV), requested the collaboration to the different medical societies, to elaborate and to update the lines of action in order to improve the medical attention at the different levels of the sanitary organization, and to standardize the management of the principles causes of morbid-mortality in our country; for these reasons, the Venezuelan Microbiology Society proposed the principles lines of action for the primary prevention for one of the infectious diseases that affects and has great impact in the Venezuelan populations, the diarrheas.
