The purpose of this review is about possible therapeutic applications of immunomodulators during the treatment of systemic candidosis, as some as the mechanisms of their immunopathology. During the last years Candida infections was increased significantly, specially in critical care patients with deficiencies of cellular immunity. The clinical managements to safe life of this patients include many invasive compounds for natural barriers, whos might be contribute to dissemination of Candida. Prevention of systemic candidosis is imperative. New therapeutic alternatives about the treatment of this pathology like immunoregulation, and combination of cytokines and antifungal drugs, are very interesting for new investigations.
