Abstract

MARTINEZ DE CORREA, Luz María. Toward a Pluri-Dimensional Perspective of the Philosophical Concept of Law . Utopìa y Praxis Latinoamericana [online]. 2006, vol.11, n.35, pp.67-82. ISSN 1315-5216.

The arguments put forward in this work are based on certain reflections about doctrinal aspects, theoretical meanings and focuses in some philosophical postures that have been the basis for juridical science. The jus-naturalistic, jus-positivist, formalistic, realistic and materialistic conceptions recognize certain premises which, even when they appear axiomatic, nevertheless, set forth problems that require permanent discussion and interpretation, according to the analysis carried out in this study.

Keywords : philosophy of law; jus-naturalism; jus-positivism; formalism; realism; materialism.
