Resumen
RAMIREZ RIBES, María. Fernando Aínsa: Seduction by the Utopian Revolution in Latin America. Utopìa y Praxis Latinoamericana [online]. 2007, vol.12, n.37, pp.91-97. ISSN 1315-5216.
The text attempts to review what has been the utopian propensity in Latin America, based primarily on the work of Fernando Aínsa, taking into account the round trip utopia has made between the Old and New Worlds and its connection with the process of training republican youth during times when the more utopian and republican the constitutional charters are, the more despotic the governments become in turn. This breach between the dreamed-of utopia and the experienced reality is present once again in the Cuban revolution, the current Bolivarian revolution in Venezuela financed by oil, the modern gold, and in the seduction they awaken when observed from afar.
