This work deals with the exile of the writer, journalist and poet Alfonso Guillén Zelaya in Mexico between 1933 and 1947, an important stage in the life and work of this Honduran thinker as well as in Mexican and Latin American history. The article deals with one of the most representative and influential political and cultural periods in our America. The role of Alfonso Guillén Zelaya as an important thinker in the first half of the twentieth century is highlighted. The study tries to show that his thought was originally critical and as such gave added value to all philosophical thinking that should be known and disseminated in our days.
