Abstract

CHACIN FUENMAYOR, Ronald de Jesús. From Law to Law: Five Lessons on Legality and Legitimacy by Miguel Ayuso. Frónesis [online]. 2004, vol.11, n.1, pp.95-98. ISSN 1315-6268.

The Text “From Law to Law” by Miguel Ayuso constitutes a significant addition to juridic and political philosophy  for three reasons: first, it helps to clarify the differences and relkations between two highly relevant concepts- legality and legitimacy; seconf, it warns of the influence of the history of law in the theorwetical evolution of these concspts; and third, it presents us, in a clear form, the panorama of the crisis in law, and is very descriptive in relation to what really occurs in our countries in the political-normative environment.

Keywords : Legality; legitimacy; Miguel Ayuso.
