Abstract

BARRIOS GRAZIANI, Leticia. Determinantes Estructurales de la sobreexplotación del trabajo femenino en Venezuela . Frónesis [online]. 2005, vol.12, n.2, pp.9-24. ISSN 1315-6268.

The present analysis approaches the category of exploitation and its application in the case of female workers in Venezuela. Excessive exploitation is understood as a structural phenomenon inherent in the typical characteristic of a peripheral economy that presents inequalities in the labor market. In this respect, class exploitation affects important sectors of the workforce, a gender exploitation that is evidence of the disparity between the male and female labor market, based on a profound sexual labor division

Keywords : Gender; work; excessive exploitation; labor market.
