This paper reflects on the role of judicial research and how judicial phenomena that affect the law are approached. It is ever more necessary not to lose touch with judicial institutions which are expressions of social realities and it is from the comprehension of these agencies, and the historic changes that have nurtured them, that it is possible to construct a sense of judicial order which is just and useful in producing progress and development both socially and individually.
