Abstract

MARTINEZ, Don Rodrigo; DE JESUS, María Inés; ANDRADE, Raiza  and  MENDEZ, Raizabel. Brief Cartography of Constructivism in the Society of Knowledge. Frónesis [online]. 2007, vol.14, n.2, pp.37-63. ISSN 1315-6268.

Has objectivity died? Reference to the object/subject relationship in science leads to a reflection on constructivism, its philosophical and psychological bases, as well as to an attempt at a brief cartography of the diverse emphases assumed by what has been termed an epistemology or metatheory of education. Some thoughts are sketched around the paradigm of complexity without pretending to find single answers but rather promoting ideas to facilitate questioning, being aware of the impossibility of reaching a total knowledge of reality.

Keywords : Constructivism; objectivity; education; complex thought.
