Abstract

MORALES, Eduviges; NUNEZ, Ingrid  and  DIAZ, Irene. Education as a Fundamental Element for Endogenous Development. Frónesis [online]. 2008, vol.15, n.2, pp.99-121. ISSN 1315-6268.

The Venezuelan State’s vision of development is based on the endogenous perspective, expressing a new approach oriented toward human development. Based on this approach, the current study seeks to establish that education is a fundamental axis for endogenous development; to identify in the positive legal ordinances how the State defines itself in the light of economic development; and to specify whether the values pursued by the national social and productive inclusion system fall within the framework of endogenous development. A descriptive, documentary methodology was used.  The study concludes with identification, coherence and articulation between the constitutional values transmitted through educational programs and those that sustain the outline for endogenous development.

Keywords : Endogenous development; socialization; education; values.
