The author herein attempts the realization of a study on the evolution of collective negotiation and on the content of what is negotiated. If in the beginning businesses adapted working time and conditions to the needs of the workers, it would seem that nowadays, in spite of the regulation that continues to be protective of workers, it is the laborer who must adapt him or herself to the needs of the company,  even when the company is often very difficult to identify. In the face of this reality, the author proposes the need to look for a new type of collective negotiation called promotional. In this way the author reflects on collective negotiation and on the evolution of Mexican law.
