This paper seeks to explore the evolution of Venezuelan labor since the time of its most primary organization, namely from the early twenties of the nineteenth century to the mid-thirties of the twentieth century, in the aftermath of the primary "obrerismo", but not before presenting some evidence to give light on the influence of European workers thought in the historical development of the Venezuelan worker. The first Industrial Revolution, born in the United Kingdom (1769), generates and catalyzes important structural changes in the political, economic and social arena, not only on the European continent, but also in the American continent, first in the U.S. and later in Latin America. From this revolution is derived a set of ideologies and thoughts, of which some enter to play a leading role, through individuals and migrant groups, mainly in the nineteenth century, in the evolutionary development of Venezuelan workers, whose expression could take shape in craft guilds and its ideas, which leads to unionism, although still incipient, that sees the light emerging in the early decades of the twentieth century.
