This work attempts to reflect how was the media image of Venezuela's Marcos Perez Jimenez in the Spain of Francisco Franco through two Spanish-rotating at the time two of the most important, the ABC and La Vanguardia. The period is very evocative analyze both sides of the Atlantic (1954-1962), it lies between the rise and fall of Venezuelan dictator in a precise historical moment that Spain was trying to break into the world, take another picture and be accepted, but an alliance of political, ideological, economic, and symbolic media with perezjimenato was an essential objective for Spanish diplomacy.
