From a historical perspective is presented briefly the scientific work and exploration of the Merida road south of Lake Maracaibo, made during the seven years of Antonio Guzman Blanco, Julian Churión by the engineer. During guzmancismo were carried out policies and strategies for the construction of public works for the country’s progress, including construction of roads for the benefit of agricultural production and economy.
