Along centuries XVIII and XIX Naval Mastership was constituted by the entirely workers and a specialist on shipyard Spanish sector conducted them. In the course of century XVIII had been consolidating a specialized corps for each Maritime Department; Ferrol, Cádiz and Cartagena, and by 1800 it reached their highest level. In the early XIX century under the name Naval Mastership all the subjects were included employees for building or fairing ships as do all, those who were artisans and workshops, that provided for public works and hydraulic one as well, and it was regulated by the relevant ordinances.
