The sea power is crucial in the destination of the nations, for what the navy of a country is more than a defense instrument. In that sense, the soul and reason of being of all navy are your ships, which are the maximum expression of the power of the same ones. From among all the ships of war that have gone by the naval history Venezuelan, highlight the Nueva Esparta Class Destroyers. These destroyers were the ships of combat of more tonnage that have had the Republic, they marked a time of intense development and modernization of the national navy and they had an operative life with many events. In this work is carried out a technical study on the same ones that it include your design, armament, motors and propulsion and electronic, comparing them with other similar and contemporary ships, you stop this way to help to explain why the Venezuelan Government acquired these systems of weapons and how the same ones impacted then in the increment of the power of fire of those calls Naval Forces of Venezuela.
