This research addresses, within the historical context of the construction of the Central Regional Highway in the decades of the fifties and sixties of the 20th century, the effect of this work on the population dynamics and the industrial development in surrounding communities that highway in the States of Aragua and Carabobo. This work connects to the city of Caracas with the West of the country, but also serves of link or connection for other two capital of State, Maracay and Valencia, and one of them ports more important of Venezuela, port hair, what it becomes in the main artery road of the country. Its construction and operation resulted in an increased flow of goods and people, boosting the economy of the central region of the country, making it one of the vials that has contributed to the process of formation of metropolis in Venezuela, by accelerating the growth of the population and the establishment of industries in its area of influence , to while has fostered the interdependence and integration social and economic of them centers villages, forming of this way them two regions Metropolitan more densely populated of the country, it of Caracas and the of Valencia-Maracay.
