This article intends an approximation to the historical process based on the interaction of the different aspects of the tovareña society, highlighting the projection of the Commercial House Burguera de Tovar in a global system of production that will strengthen the articulation with the power structures and their relations Socioeconomic, political and cultural both in the region and abroad forging a cultural worldview manifested in the social representations that will be a fundamental part of the territory imaginary tovareño. Under the methodological approach of social history will be the triangulation of various sources, on the one hand, we study the official literature as gazettes, memoirs and speeches that give account of the governmental management around the treatment of immigration in a period framed in The national context, by the ideas of progress, civilization and order initiated with the Guzman Blanco management; Periodicals that circulated in the historical landmark selected for the study, such as El Eco Tovar and El Artesano, and finally works and narrative novels of renowned Venezuelan characters such as Domingo Alberto Rangel, Alfonso Ramírez Díaz and Jesus Rondón Nucete, who contextualize Tovar in the meridian region as an elite, a metropolis due to the economic boom and the cultural influence of the immigrants, reason why these are the projection of the cultural worldview in Tovar, from the holidays And celebrations, artistic manifestations, appropriation and ornamentation of public spaces, construction of public services, among others that allow to visualize a dialectic between the real happened and the constructed real, between thing and representation, that is to say, an image aggregate . Concluding that the social imagery of territoriality will be highly influenced by the intercultural worldview promoted by the immigration process favored by the Burguera Commercial House at the beginning of the 20th century in the Merida region.
