Abstract This paper is presented within the framework of an epistemological, theoretical and practical questioning of the cultural establishments that exist in contemporary societal and educational environs, which is an emerging topic within the conjugation of the diversity of perspectives and plurality of actors that voice their worries in relation to the human reality of human beings, and of education as the significance and the sense given to educational praxis. This research is a critical, phenomenological questioning of the points of encounter offered by actors, actions and interactions that constitute the daily drama of life, the data of experiences lived, the reality and internal experiences of each individual, the recovery of life based on the collective, the interpretive, the discursive and the representational. In this sense, some of the results of this research experience are exposed for discussion in relation to social representations, that come from a collective university experience, related to educational praxis, the findings of which reveal the existence of an unreal and instrumentalist culture that is expressed in the conception and exercise of a praxis established and legitimized as true
