The objective of this study is to analyze technological advances in environmental protection, as a product of intellectual capital promoted in the University of Zulia in conjunction with the University Technological Park (UTP) in relation to technological innovation in favour of the positive environmental impact of the Environmental Pressurization and De-pressurization Plant (PDA) for which a strategy I s in the planning for its introduction in the environmental market in order create greater academic integration of the same. However, without doubt this is a technological development that supports one of the fundamental purposes of institutions of higher learning, the maximization of the University-Industry relation. For the development of the same a review of literature based on advances in innovative research was undertaken in PTU-Zulia, and bibliographical sources permitted the conclusion that in the middle run, this foundation would not only help in the generation and transfer of knowledge and new developments, but is also capable of marketing technology with commercial ends, in order to produce resources for the self-generation of capital. The development of green technology and the transfer of knowledge contribute to the progressive substitution of contaminant technologies, an aspect considered from the perspective of social responsibility, and is supported by legislation that regulates the environment.
