This article proposes that we are going through a crisis that requires a systemic solution, and not the economic crisis that the majority of the world population is debating: it is a development crisis. What is a constant in the world is instability and structural disequilibrium, and we must mobilize ideas to prepare the world for order, peace and development. The basic challenge is to construct ample and durable stability. Is this possible in a monetary world without rules? The redesign of the monetary order, international finance, and international financial cooperation is a necessity. The fundamental question is to decide to act. Do we change or continue with the model? Since 1944 we have walked the gold path, and the dollar path, and because of this we propose a system that evolves towards a pattern based on human development, which is one of the most solid indicators of human evolution. The success of the proposed system depends on previous consensus and world agreement, since the present system is characterized as a non-consensual anarchic and de-regulated system.
