Abstract

The general mission of the present article was to analyze the reconfiguration of the new international economic order within the framework of globalization at the beginning of the XXIst century. For this purpose, the study examined the international economic order starting from World War II. International institutions were characterized taking into account their structures and principle actors. Different stages of the international postwar economic order. Methodology applied was the hypothetical, deductive method, characterized by a documentary review - theoretical and critical. The type of investigation was descriptive with a non-experimental, trans-sectional design. Results concluded that after World War II, the expansion of capitalism originated changes in the world-wide system with a tendency between the two millennia that the globalization process was going to characterize the international economic order in the first part of the XXIst century.
