The objective of the article is to explore labor performance and its relation to the stability of contracted personnel in the School of Medicine at the University of Zulia. Research was of the descriptive type; its design was non-experimental, transversal. The population under study consisted of 50 contracted administrative employees. To constitute a finite, accessible population it was not considered necessary to select a sample; therefore a population census was applied. A relationship was shown between performance and work stability among the employees. Conclusions registered employee dissatisfaction and lack of motivation due to their pay and performance evaluations.
