This study aims to determine whether or not leadership styles influence organizational culture. Subsequently, it seeks to discover whether organizational culture impacts organizational performance, using a sample of 68 top executives from SMEs in Chile. Research results show that a relationship exists between leadership styles and the organizational culture; in this context, leadership style explains 46.2% of the innovative culture and 73.1% of the competitive culture. Likewise, there is also a relationship between organizational culture and effectiveness, since, in the analyzed sample, 69.9% of the effectiveness is explained by culture.
