The current economic model, in which commercial openness and the flow of product and service exchange is increasingly internationalized, demands that companies and the sectors where they reside face new challenges and adapt to the changes that such a situation supposes. This article intends to identify some competitive strategies that would allow managerial sectors to obtain an advantageous position in the world network. Starting from a descriptive analysis based on theoretical contrasting, this study indicates that to reach a competitive position in the global market, new schemes of action must be established, such as: integrating behavior, development of central capacities, cooperation with external entities, specialization, solidarity and social contribution.
