This article presents a research done about the effectiveness of The Thinking Process Model applied at preschool level. The study has as referent in Dr. Margarita de Sánchez "Model of transference of the process of thinking in teaching and learning", that was applied at the "Santa Bárbara" preschool in El Tejero, state of Monagas, where the different elements related to knowledge development were taken. The objective of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the model applied to the didactic strategies that activate the thinking process in a child. The methodology used was a qualitative field research study of ethnographic cases in which a preschool teacher and her 21 students participated. The techniques used for the data collection were: the non participating observation and the interview in deep, and as instruments used were a camera recorder and a protocol book. From the analysis we conclude that with the Transference Model the teacher use didactic strategies that activate the thinking process in young children. These strategies are: motivation, the asking technique, verbal interaction techniques, socio-affective techniques, evaluation and feed back.
