The approach follows a generalist perspective in order to apply the discussion to various types of organizations. Three working experiences are described based on 527 climate evaluations. These assessments revealed an impact of management actions on the working atmosphere that can be quantify between 50 and 70 percent. The study highlights the need for bosses to manage organizational climate at the company, department and team levels. Departing from the notion that a manager's role is to promote chance, managing the climate must be decisive if there is an imminent organizational change.
