This research was based on the administrative perspective of the tutorial process; therefore through a diagnostic it will determine the factors that affect the management and processes of the topic under study in the IPMAR and IPRM campuses of the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador. A descriptive field researach was carried out based on the informations provided by the Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies, the Coordinators of Subprogrammes, tutors and the students being tutored. The most important result is that it evidences the lack of supervision to manage the tutor processes. Thus it sets forth a model of andragogic supervision for the tutorial process in order to strenghten the work of postgraduate studies at IPMAR and IPRM. The study falls in the Managerial field, specifically Andragogic Education Management, and it highlights the reiterative need to revise or identify the organizational transformation processes of the university in its research function to produce change.
