This research examines and compares the regulations and organizational structures that gymnastics federations and associations use to control this discipline in countries such as Australia, France, Italy, New Zealand, Indonesia and Ecuador. This research was made in order to determine how differences and resemblances in their regulations affect or have infl uence in the performance of their organizations (gymnasts, managers, training judges). Among the conclusive aspects it is remarkable the fact that the countries that have obtained better results have more criteria and regulations written for their members. The country that obtained the best results in this study -Francehas more democratic participation and representation of its members at the moment of taking decisions.
