The objective of this work was to establish the real demands of the visitors of the Botanic Zoo Park Bararida, Lara state, in order to set proposals that guide the environmental education for the maintenance of the animal life. This research took into account the affluence of visitors by observation and by direct calculation. At the same time, the real profile was determined through interviews. Families became the most common visitor to the park (78%) making interactive and contemplative activities. The preference of animal life located on mammal species (8 of 10) and the favorite exhibition was the serpentarium. The educative activities required by the visitors were: guided visits (35%) participating in workshops (21%), watch videos and photographs (16%) and touching animal parts (15%). Finally, the research proposes a set of educative actions that give answer to the several aspects of the of the zoo visitors’ real demands.
