The purpose of this study was to identify which are the current trends in the use of b-learning, from the information presented in the Third Latin American Virtual Congress on Quality in long-distance Education. 62 talks were analyzed regarding the blended learning. The talks were presented by teachers and researchers from 32 countries in Latin America. According to their nature, the presentations were distributed as follows: (a) 46 talks (74, 20%) were related to educational experiences, (b) 11 talks (17, 74%) were suggestions or thoughts on the subject under study; and (c) 5talks (8, 06%) related to research on it. The experiences have been related to: (a) teaching at different levels of education, particularly in higher education, and (b) teaching and corporate training. The analysis showed that the result in the use of b-learning has been positive and the research on this field is a descriptive, interpretive or documentary but, has had little development.
