Being a teacher of educational institutions in the blended learning modality could not be an easy task if we consider the competitions that they bring and, the fact that a great number of those working as such were students and teachers from traditional systems. In this regard, with a view to the formation of educators-IMPM UPEL was determined, with a sample of 54 informants, the reality of their facilitators. For this, we used the characteristics of the profile of a university educator working in this mode. The results allowed the meeting with a professional with many important features to correctly exercise its role as facilitator in the institution; moreover, in many cases without knowledge on the methodology of blended education. No user (mostly) of the technologies of information and communication. Knowledge that undoubtedly is essential not only in the context of teaching practices, but also for its successful performance in todays society.
