Resumen
CEGARRA, José. Phenomenological sociology as an epistemological source of social imaginaries. Investigación y Postgrado [online]. 2011, vol.26, n.1, pp.65-90. ISSN 1316-0087.
We present a theoretical review to establish an approach to the epistemological foundations of social imaginaries. This is intended to account for such bases, analyzing the approaches of great authors such as Durkheim, with collectives representations, Husserl with the world of life, Schutz and his handmade knowledge and; finally, Luckman and Berger with Baeza´s symbolic universe and social imaginaries. This may be concluded that its origins and epistemological foundations can be found in the tradition of phenomenological sociology that studies the social reality from the perspective of everyday life.
