The need to develop human resources in the area motivated the curriculum design of a specialization in Pediatric Clinical Nutrition that considered as a fundament the program intervention model Malnutrition Care Child Nutrition Care Center Antímano. The study was based on field research that led to the lifting of the graduate profile structured skills: general skills units and their corresponding descriptors or elements of competency (knowledge, skills, attitudes, values). The identified skills were grouped according to their nature and generated curriculum units, organized to form the plan of study: 20 compulsory courses, 2 electives, 1 course and degree thesis. Programs included two directors (Bioethics and Human Rights) as keystones that permeate the curriculum. This design is characterized by its internal coherence, flexibility and feasibility to be replicated; also promotes the interrelationships of the areas of knowledge, integrity, and interdisciplinary research.
