Resumen

Currently, The Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) is going through a curricular transformation process; therefore, the Vicerrectorado de Investigación y Postgrado (UPEL’s body in charge of conducting research in graduate programs) created Academic Reasearch Networks (RAI, in Spanish.) This study aims at supporting the conception of a proposal for the regulation of the curricula of the UPEL’s graduate subprograms, through Academic Research Networks. Several theoretical and legal aspects were taken into consideration to support this study. This descriptive and field study took the 126 Coordinators of the subprograms of the graduate programs of the UPEL as population and 39 subjects as sample of this study. The study was conducted with these techniques: survey and content analysis. The instruments that helped on the conduction of this study were: questionnaire (approved by experts on Cronbach’s alpha) and the SWOT matrix. It is concluded that the Academic Research Networks are a good opportunity to work as a team on the curricula of the UPEL’s graduate subprograms and the RAIs are likely to be implemented in this matter.
